You hypocrites!

Intellectuals called knowledge as the best treasure, and gave reason that none can steal it from the owner. Good characteristics regarding knowledge are not limited here. Knowledge not only help individual in leading a better life rather one can use his knowledge for healing the people and society. Life of prophets, saints and enlightened people are illuminated example of this. They gained knowledge from every possible method and then fed the humanity by its essence to help it overcome agony. But like every existing thing, knowledge also possesses some demerits. First of all, if knowledge is not complete, it increases the ‘ego’ of individual and secondly, if knowledge constitutes with false facts, it can be harmful.

Spirituality has always warned, to gain knowledge of eternal truth, as spirituality knows that only this is the way to eliminate ego from the knowledge. Many people try to gain some knowledge only to show it in front of people so that they can satisfy their ego and taste the self-importance. It’s a natural instinct that we all want to stand on the stage, higher than other, with people eyes looking and searching for us. When we do something shameful we never rush to street speaking about it, on the contrary, we hide ourselves from eyes of others behind those black glasses that may hide our shadow but cannot hide our deeds.

The vast range of false and phony spiritual masters did the same thing. They gained some piece of knowledge from somewhere and they presented themselves in an innocent form, who are in quest of knowledge. They cleverly thought that it will not harm them, as the direct danger seems to be in form of seeker. But due to lack of knowledge these people could not see the indirect harm approaching towards them too.

Bible (Matthew 23:13), says that, "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to."

A clear caution from an enlightened soul.
