You are in control of your life



In the ocean of our mind, thoughts come like waves. Some of them are tiny without leaving much impact on us but some are major, with capability to change our life and thinking forever. This is the very reason why there is no specific time limitation to attain enlightenment. It depends upon how deep we study or listen spiritual ideas so that it can penetrate our mind and soul. The thought we listen today may not affect at all but there is always a possibility that next time the same thought can change us from inside. In these waves of thought one wave often strikes the shore, is about life, that, “What is life, and what is the meaning of life?”

Life is a puzzle to most of us with no certain definition. Most of us live our lives without ever reflecting on life itself and its meaning. However, our lives are full of activities but meaningful activities are very less. In our life, we experience pain and pleasure depending upon our activities of daily life. Our meaningful activities certainly bring happiness and add pleasure to our experience. Now question comes that how to lead a meaningful life and how to add happiness in it?

Spirituality possesses a vast part of philosophical approach towards answering this question. Spiritual wisdom, on meaningful and happy life includes living the life to full extent. It says that, life should be seen, as an eternal process of joyous discovery and growth. Spirituality teaches techniques in both directions. Some time it asks about enhancing the happiness and some time in reducing the pain. For spirituality happiness and pain, both are moment-to-moment choice. It depends upon the mind that how we take the situation. Spiritual living is on our mind.

Once, a new disciple of the monastery asked to master that,

O master! Tell me about the happiness. What are ways to abolish the unhappiness from the life and to step on the path of eternal happiness?
