Bajaj has now come up with affordable 150cc bikes with the launch of new Discovers as Discover 150S and Discover 150F.
At a price tag of Rs 52,000 for its base variant Discover 150S looks like a bargain. Let us find out whether it is?
Looks:
Nothing to cherish about. It is based on the same platform as Discover 100 or now discontinued Discover 125ST. It even borrows the same parts such as instrument cluster, tail lights, headlight and alloy wheels.
Discover 150F though gets bikini firing adding to its visual appeal. Overall you would agree to the pricing which keep these motorcycles strictly into the basic 150cc commuter segment.
Ride comfort:
For a 150cc the bike dimensions are small. Once you sit on it you feel like you are on a small bike. The seating is not very uncomfortable but is cramped; nevertheless it is not uncomfortable for city riding. The nearest rival to Discover is Yamaha SZ, compare to which the riding position and comfort is nowhere.
