The wise thinking of yours?

 The wise thinking of yours?

 What do you see?

People who pose to be intellectual and tradition breakers often criticize ancient tradition and cultural and religious believes. In the effort of posing themselves as unique and different from the mass, many times they forget that, even with few drops of rain their painted color of modernity would flush out. In addition, sometimes their self-righteous behavior would let them to a pathetic situation of oneness. Most of them not only starts believing in their own created thesis but also starts preaching their belief as latest testaments. Such people often call their thinking as 'rationalist thinking.' Using this word only resorts on something truth for proving the false. Being rationalist never meant to be critical, true rationalism is innovative criticism. One side you criticize things intellectually and other side you have to build the alternate.

Modern world is full of such people who often claim that, they do not regard tradition, culture, religion and spirituality as it has no significance in modern world. They call it as a product of old minds, with no knowledge. They deny it, without giving a second thought. There is no doubt that they do have good logic in their denial, but there logic is good only until some great mind teach them truth more logically. In ancient time, people prefer to visit enlightened masters to destroy their destructive thoughts and constructive logic. It is a fact that most of them have lost their relevance in today’s world but still some part of them are as fresh as they were thousands of years ago. Only thing is required is true addressing of the facts. A story which share the great logic from the both side of possibilities say much more, story says that--

"A man went to a barbershop to have his haircut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They discussed various topics and subjects.

When they eventually touched the subject of 'spirituality and spiritual masters,' the barber said- "I don't believe that spirituality or spiritual masters exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out on the street to realize that spirituality and spiritual masters don’t exist. Tell me, if they would exist, there would be so much agony. I can't imagine a loving spiritual master who would allow all of these things to happen."

The customer thought for a moment, but did not respond because he did not want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man on the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barbershop again and he said to the barber, "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is people do not come to me."

"Exactly!" - affirmed the customer.

"That's the point! Spirituality and Spiritual Masters too exist! What happens, is, people do not go to them and do not embrace them. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

The above story tells how we derive conclusions before even making ourselves aware of both sides. Sometimes we try to impose our thoughts in haste, which defy our logic based partly on certain facts. Before believing on something affirmatively, one must seek for every other possibility it can have. They may be hidden or abstract but their effect will be visible and may also be dominating to what we have in front of our eyes. The world where we live has everything what we want, but to get those we need to go for quest.
