Royal Enfield Himalayan Review
Pros:
- A new generation bike from Royal Enfield
- Minimalistic looks
- Built for a purpose i.e. to conquer all terrain
- Lots of luggage space for touring
- Very comfortable riding position
- Long suspension travel to tackle any kind of terrain from broken roads to hilly trails
- All terrain tyres that offer decent grip on plain roads as well as any other type of surface
- Brand new 410cc engine developed by Royal Enfield which offers acceptable power and torque figures
- Vibration free ride for the first time in Royal Enfield history
- A comparable bigger fuel tank of 15 litres to increase tank range
- Powerful Headlamps for adequate night vision
- Perfect seat height to aid short of riders
- At Rs. 1.55 lacs Royal Enfield Himalayan is a great value for money
Cons:
- Minimalistic looks can be polarizing – either you will hate it or love it. As far as Factincept is concerned – we are not pleased with the looks.
- 410 cc engine produces 24.84PS of power and 32Nm of peak torque which is on lower side for the kind of bike
- Top speed of 130kmph is low and Himalayan does not allows you to cruise more than 110kmph
- Engine though revs higher for a royal Enfield bike but cannot be compared from other Japanese or even Indian bikes
- Royal Enfield’s typical thumping sound is missing
- A bike not meant to impress your girlfriend
