What’s new?
Frankly speaking, there is nothing new to explore in this segment. Why?
The reason is very simple; this segment was created to be economical. Various companies design and evaluate their cars to be cost efficient for users therefore at minimum price they have to offer maximum value for the product. What this does with car is that it takes away the fun factor and you get a product whose review needs to given on limited factors.
However, this might be a good thing for buyers of this segment as they do not expect the car to be fun.
Coming to what is new in Hyundai Excent, is a brand new 1.1L diesel engine developed by Hyundai for economy rather than outright performance, a rear AC vent for this segment that took many reviewers and customers by surprise, and a lots of boot space as Indian are habitual to carry tons of luggage. That’s all.
