Welcome to an area of excellence first of its kind ever, poor Uttar Pradesh got in its history & a dream come true for Mayawati. But it has been left with a dent in not having a 'helipad' as Ms. Mayawati forced to go by road which is most unlike her, after so much of grand architectural work showing greatness. Ahh! real sad site, isn't it.
As Mayawati inaugurated her dream park she also became a myth buster of not erecting ones own statue till you are alive. The project has cost an estimated value around Rs 685 crore having an area around 33 acres. Every political party is criticizing to complete their business as every politician are paid to speak only not to work.
But in some ways if compared its better to see some open land around NCR region as housing socities are flooding everywhere. Its eye-catching to see a green area than a fully air-conditioned mall which itself costs thousands of crores of rupees. Who gains? Those business persons who waits to cash in any opportunity they get. Its far better to see natural beauty rather than artificial. Its something where we can see and analyze money expenditure, unlike scams happening and politicians digesting our money and we cry our souls. Development is not only building malls and architecturing artificial visuals. We had our historical monuments where kings used to spend heavily from state fund, therefore why not treat it like that. After all it,s an attempt of "Sarvjan Hitay Sarvjan Sukhay" policy accepted by voters.
Mayawati called it as memorial for dalit leaders, you can find every important statue dedicated to dalit leaders, where dalits can come to get motivated. Now, here is an aspect which needs to be highlighted in modern days politics where politicians seek to divide us without knowing what they shout in their speeches is entirely wrong. So, whatever is going on we are only responsible for that as politicians are part of our society. What's inside so wrong?
To understand we need to know the inside story first-Who are 'Dalits'?
"Manu" gave us a system in which he defined Dalits are originated from feet of Lord "Brahma" designated to serve their masters sitting on him. But what happened later on no need to explain as our society failed to understand the real concept behind it and exploited so many people in the name of Dalit as they considered that on who born in their house they to are dalits.
So, Mayawati calls herself a Dalit which in real terms is highly condemnable, why because she is ruling and a ruler is 'Kshatriya' which every person must understand. She took every step like a ruler leaving all real dalits in their condition which anyone can recognize by a mere visit of U.P. villages. Somebody need to go, ask & explain those people of ruptured mentality why their condition still unchanged inspite of her so called dalit leader Mayawati so much show off. The real fact is, every ruler wants to rule till she/he alive and to achieve their cause they leave society divided.
This doesn't imply to only Mayawati, it implies to everyone according to which whosoever is working anywhere under somebody all are ''Dalits'', but everyone wants to live in a virtual world which they think is real. Most interestingly, larger part of our society runs behind jobs either government or private. By doing so they proves themselves ''Dalit''. Might sound hypothetical but no need to prove truth as it is self proved, infact a proper campaign is required to reveal it, than only esp. our rural society can get justice.
Coming back to memorial park, another question which strikes- what's the need of this park, when poor people thinks Mayawati as a life changer for them. Answer is- absolutely no need of it esp. if you divide the cost for 380 million people living below poverty line in India, forget U.P., it will come around 1.8 crore each which would definitely helped them to improve their life. Ironically, it would have helped to reach Rs 32 margin line set up by the government of India. But ruler always wants to create such an environment around themselves which blocks true air blowing around them, and the same Mayawati did.
All eyes will be on election 2012.We hope things will change with good people.

I agree. The park viw is certainly better than seeing the concrete towers and buildings. But certainly some better use of money for people's welfare would have been appreciated.
