We all are familiar with the famous proverb that deserve then desire and spiritually also demands it. Spirituality says that when one desire to walk on the path of spirituality, he must deserve too. Spiritual scriptures have mention it many times that knowledge must be given on the basis of how deep he deserve not on the basis of how much one desire. But it does not put a condition that first deserve then desire. Many have become deserving after the desiring, spirituality has all the possibilities. Guidance of true masters on path of spirituality is very important and helpful in realizing the ultimate truth and complete liberation. But more than this, it is important to get a true master. Out of many qualities, true master posses a quality that they only give you initiation after judging you, and until you do not deserve, they do not initiate. They do not ignore you or deny you, first task they accomplish you to make you deserving for what you desire.
Once a king of some Arabian country was very fond of the spiritual way of life, and was always seeking the company of the spiritual masters and the Saints. However, he lived in such luxury that he slept in a bed that had a mound and quarter of flowers laid on it all the time. One day, when he was going to this bed, he heard a noise on his palace roof and, on investigation, saw two men roaming about on the roof.
